Swimming Lessons

Happy Friday and Father's Day weekend!
I'm so happy it's the end of the week even if this weekend is jam packed with things to do.
The past two weeks Kayla has had swimming lessons every night and I feel like we have spent the mornings running around not doing anything fun(except for a few crafts we have done here and there).
Luckily that will all change now that we have the next few months off.
It's time to start marking off our Summer List!

Kayla and one of her close buddies

First item to mark off is, learn to swim.
Kayla was in swimming lessons last year for about a week when I decided to take her out because she was so terrified we were getting no where!
We have spent the last 4 Saturdays in a row at my father in laws working with her trying to get her to feel more comfortable in the water and not until the very last day, when I had honestly given up, she decided to try it out.
Before we knew it she was all over the pool swimming back and forth without hesitation.
Once swimming lessons began she did awesome, never afraid to try a thing.

poor Brooklyn so badly wanting to swim

Last night was her last night, which was an open play night.
They have two water slides which she was excited but a little worried about going down.
The first time her instructor went down with her and after that she was on her own having way too much fun!

Both of the girls are excited for swimming lessons now just so they can play on the slides the very last day.
We might have to sign up again this Summer for another two weeks.
Oh and Kayla passed her class with flying colors! ;)

So fun! I love her face when she is coming down the slide and then the joy once she did it. Priceless!
The girls are adorable as always, I'm so glad it's summer, too!
