Chocolate Pumpkin Pies in Mason Jars

Thanksgiving is a few days away so I thought I would share a cute dessert with you all.
I love mason jars for many reasons but being able to use them for individual desserts is beyond fun and cute!
It also makes them very easy to transport from here to there which is perfect for holiday traveling.

Chocolate Pumpkin Pies

2 cups crushed chocolate wafer cookies
6 Tablespoons butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 (15oz.) can pumpkin
1 (14oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon salt
20 teaspoons chocolate hazelnut spread (such as Nutella)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

In a large bowl, combine cookies, butter and sugar.  Press into bottom of 10 small mason jars.
In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, condensed milk, eggs, pumpkin pie spice and salt.  Beat at medium speed with mixer until well blended.
Divide pumpkin mixture evenly among mason jars.  Place 2 teaspoons chocolate hazelnut spread in center of each jar.  Smooth pumpkin mix over the top.  Bake for about 30 minutes, or until set.  Cool completely.
Serve with whipped cream if desired.

Enjoy!

These sound wonderful. What a fun idea for the next time I need to bring dessert someplace.
