Twas' The Week Before Winter Break

Christmas is here in just 5 short days!!
I know it is always said but I really can't believe it's already that time I really wish it would slow down!  I want more snuggle time on the couch with Christmas movies and cocoa and more time to do Christmas activities with my girls.
Here is a little of what we have been up to this past week but first I'm including this picture of Kayla on nerd day a few weeks ago because she makes the cutest lil' nerd,

okay now on to our week

when we have been home we have been watching as many Christmas movies as we can

the girls both brought home a gift they made for us in school and Kayla even got to shop at her school for gifts for her family.  I'm looking forward to opening them to see what they are.

When I picked Kayla up from school on Thursday she came out with this creation.  I'm pretty sure she dumped every piece of candy she could fit on her gingerbread house!

I got my caramels made for Christmas so one thing less to bake this weekend.

Wednesday night was Kayla's Christmas program, they sang the cutest songs and I loved watching her facial expressions.  Afterwards we had the grandparents over for chili and dessert.

At 1:08 today Christmas break began which means 2 whole weeks of fun!  The girls both had their Christmas pajama parties at school today and were super excited for the festivities.

presents were delivered to teachers and Brooklyn had a gift exchange

This morning I was excited to decorate the pantry door with a few holiday creations and get together a few items that we will be doing over the next few days.

We are ready for some fun now that school is out!
