Starting T-ball

Last night was Brooklyn's first practice for t-ball, she has been so excited to start and has been asking everyday when her practice was going to be.  I was worried about her throwing a fit about what she would have to wear since she insists on wearing dresses or leggings everyday, no sweats, no jeans!  So I had to go over some rules and explain there will be no dresses, no leggings, you will get dirty and you might even get hurt at some point but you will be fine just go out and have fun.  She agreed and made sure to remind me before practice that she had to wear sweats to practice.  It will be interesting to see how she does and grows while playing this season.  Unlike Kayla she is not much into practicing at home or having us help teach her she seams to get bored rather quickly and after about 15 minutes wants to do something else.  Her practice was about 45 minutes yesterday and she did fine paying attention so hopefully she will get the hang of it.  Most of the fun is watching a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds running around clueless anyway so it will be fun regardless!

she was looking a bit serious which usually ends in tears from being embarrassed or nervous so we sent daddy out there to put a smile on her face.

She was very happy to find there was a PINK bat for her to use!

Her team is the Royals which this morning she informed me is kind of like a princess so all is good in the world of Brooklyn!
Next week Kayla starts practices on Mondays and Wednesdays while Brooklyn is Tuesdays and Thursdays so basically we will be at the fields Monday through Thursdays and soon including Saturdays when games begin, so much for cozy nights at home in the evenings!

She is so cute. Isabella played softball when she was younger and loved it.

I'm so jealous of your green grass and playing outdoors! MN really stinks right now. Anyway... It's fun to see your girls really enjoying softball. I played from the time I was a kid up until a few years ago. It's such a great sport!
