It's hard to believe that Kayla is going to be in second grade at the end of Summer. She absolutely loves learning and I have no doubt she will do just as amazing next year as she did this year in school.
Last week she had her open house which is always such a treat for us as parents. I love reading what she has written and seeing all of her adorable creations. They did so many poems this year and I loved everyone of them especially the "I Am" poem pictured down below. We came home with a huge bag filled with her art that I still have to find room for because of course there is no way I could ever toss any of it!

I taught it for five years...so I am a bit biased. ; )
I know Juliana will be in second grade next year as well!
Don't you just love going to open house...the kids are always so excited.
Oh goodness, she looks so happy! My daughter will be in second grade next year too! It's hard to believe how quickly time flies by.
