Days and weeks just keep flying by and it's hard finding the time to keep the blog updated on what is going on in our lives. Thank heavens for whoever invented instagram it's so much easier to share the day to day life over there. Feel to follow me along there for better updates!

A few weeks ago Kayla had nerd day at school. Just like last year we threw together her nerd outfit the morning of and off she went, the cutest little nerd I've ever seen.
The glasses are still being worn around here, Kayla will often be wearing them while reading and the other day Brooklyn wore them to Homegoods. She even got a few compliments on them which she thought was great. She definitely has a style all her own. She came out ready for bed one night with her puppy all ready for bed as well.
On Thursdays Kayla stays late at school for Sundance Singers practice. Brooklyn can not wait to be a part of this group next year! As soon as we get to Kayla's practice she grabs Kayla's backpack and puts it on then inches her way over to where the school kids are standing. Puts a smile on my face everytime. She is so ready to be at the elementary level.
This past weekend our friends invited us along with them to Knott's Berry Farm. It was extremely crowded but we still had a fun time. There little boy is an amazing friend to both of the girls and they get along so well!
After the entire day spent at Knott's Berry Farm we declared Sunday a pajama day and lounged around the entire day. One particular girl was overly tired and had had a few meltdowns and after many arguments she finally took a much needed nap.
All was better afterward and the girls spent most of the day playing school together.
This week Kayla has minimum day every day due to teacher conferences. I had my conference yesterday and as I suspected she is doing amazing. I was in awe of the wonderful things her two teachers had to say about her such as, "she is the best student I've ever had", "she is truly gifted", "she is amazing at math and not only understands it but can thoroughly explain her answers" "her writing is sooo good" and so on... I just had to get these down to remember the amazing things that were said. To say I am proud is an understatement!!
Monday morning this girl and I went to Homegoods to get our shopping fix in and then stopped in for a favorite lunch. She is full of excitement this year for her upcoming Christmas program, she spent the past weekend memorizing her lines and already has the entire thing down and is so ready to be up on stage!
I'm beyond thrilled that next week is Thanksgiving and that the girls will be home with me everyday. Can't wait to enjoy some time with my favorite girls!
