Before it was even 6am Brooklyn came running into my room to tell me her tooth fell out. I was half asleep and asked where it was and to please put it on the bathroom counter and climb back in bed. She was so excited to lose her first tooth and could not wait for the tooth fairy to come later that night.
Mommy might have been a little more sad than excited that my baby is now losing her teeth all in the same week that my oldest turned 8 and I received Brooklyn's preschool graduation pictures! Didn't I just go through losing a first tooth with Kayla?!!
So last night before bed we put Brooklyn's tiny tooth in the tooth fairy pillow in hopes that the fairy would leave behind some money
When morning came I was awakened again by a very excited little girl telling me the tooth fairy left her five dollars!
She later found some fairy dust that the fairy left behind. Kayla and Brooklyn thought that was so neat to find and I told the girls they were very lucky because that rarely ever happens and it must have accidentally spilled out of her bag while taking the tooth. They had some fun throwing it around the room to see if they could fly. It didn't work but the magic that was left behind did!

How sweet!
And that dust...
I hope the tooth fairy remembers that when she visits here! : )
