New Years Eve

Our New Years Eve was spent at home.  We had our usual appetizer dinner which is always a favorite around here, we sang karaoke, played a fun game of Bean Boozled and watched Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve until we were all too tired and headed to bed.  Brooklyn passed out around nine and the rest of us headed to bed a little after ten.

I made this fudge pie which was way too much for me.   It was just a so-so recipe so I will not be making it again.

Waiting for the kitchen to get cleaned up so we could "party"

We all sang some karaoke and hubby and I even embarrased the girls with a fun duet together!

Then we played Bean Boozled and the girls LOVED this game!  They thought it was hilarious and we all enjoyed it for a bit but after a few turns hubby and I agreed it was just too disgusting.  The girls did not mind and kept playing on their own and they even wanted to play again on New Years Day as well.

Hubby was not a fan!
It's still a fun game to try out, if you haven't heard of it check it out on Amazon.  Kids will love it!

More singing!

and eventually bed!
Pretty excitng I know.  It was perfect for us though and we woke up well rested and ready to take on the new year,
Hello 2016!
