Christmas Tree Farm

I love having a real Christmas tree every year but I feel as though the days of real Christmas trees might be numbered in our home.   Finding a free day, evening or weekend in December is getting harder and harder every year.   This year we headed out on a Monday right after hubby got home to a nearby tree farm.  We were hoping to go this Saturday but originally it showed rain in the forecast so we decided it would be safer to get the tree on a rain free day.  Luckily Monday wasn't too cold and we enjoyed searching for about a half hour before finding the right tree to bring home.   By the time we got home it was time to eat dinner and get ready for bed.  Hubby got all of the lights strung on the tree but it has not yet been decorated.  We decided to save the decorating for tomorrow night so we can take our time and enjoy it.  I've baked cookies and we'll have egg nog and appetizers as we have done in the past while decorating the tree.  It will be such a nice evening at home together!
