Girls Spa Day

We are less than two weeks away from back to school so we are wrapping up a few of our Summer Fun List activities these next few days.   One item on our list was a girls spa day at home.

A few weeks ago the girls picked out their choice of face mask from the store and the rest was up to me.

Other than the face masks this activity cost me absolutely nothing because I used items we already had in the house.

I set up the bathroom with two bowls filled with aromatherapy bubbles and water.  I had relaxing oils diffusing throughout the room and the girls loved every second of their spa day.   They soaked their feet, had a face mask applied, had their feet and legs exfoliated and then I painted Brooklyn's nails.  Kayla opted out of the painting part.

I added oils to a bowl full of water added a washcloth and popped it in the microwave to warm it up.  They loved the warm relaxing washcloths!

After their relaxing time at the spa we moved into the family room where they had iced tea and popcorn waiting for them so we could watch a movie together.  This was such an easy and fun activity we could all enjoy together!
