Slime Time

Brooklyn has been asking to make slime for awhile so when I saw a recipe for some fun shark week slime I knew it was time.   We love watching shark week, well all of us except maybe Brooklyn but I knew she would enjoy the pretty blue sparkle slime and playing with the sharks when it's all said and done.

It was so simple to make:
a bottle of Elmer's blue glitter glue
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda sprinkled on top of the glue then mix with a spoon
1 1/2 Tablespoons of contact solution kneaded in until it turns into slime
That's it and NO mess!

We purchased some plastic sea animals to play with the slime as well.  I was going to get all sharks but the girls wanted the variety so that's what they got.  They had a blast playing with the slime and the sea creatures together.

Juliana is SO into slime. She got a slime kit for her birthday and that's all she wants to play with right now.
