Easter 2021

It wouldn't be Easter without dying Easter eggs!  The girls still said they wanted to dye eggs this year so a few days before Easter Sunday they dyed their eggs together.

This was Kayla's batch,

and this was Brooklyn's,

We spent the few days before prepping food and getting things ready.  This Easter all of the family would be back together celebrating so it was a big deal over here.

We woke up to a beautiful sunny day!

The bunny had come and left behind baskets full of goodies for the girls and eggs hidden throughout the house.

Gone are the days of cutesy Spring pajamas!

How she dreams of having a snake someday but thankfully that bunny knows the only kind of snake in this house is a pretend one!

Yay, for a special guitar strap for our special girl.

They are ready for the hunt.

Brooklyn drew three pictures just like the one below and had hid them throughout the house for me to find and for about a month I had not found the last one until Easter morning.

Love that silly girl!
All three gathered together on display now.

After the hunt was done and the house was cleaned up I set up for our family to arrive.

Games, food, drinks, laughter, cousins running around, family catching up all happening once again!

So thankful that after a year of not all celebrating together at the same time we all got to be!
