The first weekend of Summer back in June we headed out for a quick two night camping trip at one of our favorite spots, Crystal Cove.
This is just one of the reasons we love camping here!
Here is the other reason, the water is so pretty and the beaches are so clean.

Brooklyn still loves riding her bike even if it's all by herself sometimes.

We waited until noonish for the clouds to clear a bit but don't let this blue sky fool you. It was cold and the clouds came and went throughout the day.
These two didn't seem to mind. They stayed out of the water because it was freezing but the played on the sand non stop.
We tried to stay warm but it was cold. I didn't have the heart to make them pack it up so I stuck it out for them of course.
All cleaned up and ready for dinner.

Before we headed home we went down to the beach to check out the tide pools where we found a ton of friendly squirrels.
It's just so beautiful here!

The girls helped pack up to go home and then read while they waited for us to finish getting everything ready.
Not a bad spot to read a book or to start off our Summer!

I googled Crystal Cove and that's where Beaches was filmed! It's such a beautiful area and your pictures are just stunning. Looks like you all had a great time camping. Thank you for taking us along! :)
