Brooklyn's 12th Birthday

My baby is now a 'tween'

We celebrated her last weekend with a few of her friends and their parents.  She loves the Miraculous Ladybug show so that was the theme. 

Her bestie made her cake!

She's been practicing her baking for the last year and asked if she could make the cake.  She did such a good job and it tasted really good.  Brooklyn loved it!

Brooklyn wanted the Miraculous tattoos and we all had fun putting them on for her celebration.

She had such a great night!

The oldest girls were passed out on the couch while the younger ones were playing and at one point cleaning up the kitchen.

Brooklyn's official birthday was on Wednesday and she woke up to a note from her sister since she was already at cross country by the time she woke up.

Before school I surprised her and took her to pick up a starbucks drink.

After I dropped her off I picked up everything needed for her dinner and dessert request and then came home to make her peanut butter~chocolate banana cream pie.

I got all of her gifts ready for her to see when she came home and then went to pick her up from school

She was excited to see them all out waiting for her and said she had a great day at school.  She told me middle school birthdays are way better than elementary school birthdays because her friends went out of their way to celebrate her all day.  A few of her classes sang happy birthday to her and she came home with a handmade card signed by a ton of kids she has been friends with since 2nd grade.

A few minutes after we got home there was a birthday delivery from our family friends.   These two have known each other since Brooklyn was only a year old!

While I made her requested buffalo chicken pasta for dinner she sat and played with her new slime.

We love this girl so much!

She is so creative, funny, intelligent, loving and caring.  I can't believe she is already so big but I sure am loving who she is.
