Halloween Fun

Kayla and I started this tradition two years ago after one of her cross country meets.  We grabbed some fast food for lunch, came home and watched the first Nightmare on Elm Street, just us.  We decided then that the following year we would do the same, grab some fast food and watch the next movie in the series.   This year I picked her up from school we grabbed some In N Out and watched A Nightmare on Elm Street 3

Brooklyn was at a cross country meet and Chris was there watching her so it was just us two.

I love this simple tradition we have started.  We have just the right amount left to watch until she graduates from high school!

We love our family movie nights and I had some fun setting up this platter full of treats for us to eat while we watched a movie.

Our community brought back our Fall Festival this year and we were excited!

The girls got dressed up, found their friends there and took off for a night of fun!

They had mazes, games, food and lots of candy for some early trick or treating!

The girls love decorating these skull cakes I bake each year.

They might not look very appetizing but they sure don't mind eating them.

I couldn't resist purchasing these festive ravioli's

There are so many fun meals you can make during Halloween!  We make our Mummy Meatloaf every year.

The girls got to dress up for school on Friday.  Brooklyn wore Kayla's old koala costume and Kayla wore an old costume of mine and was a zookeeper.  They both looked adorable and only after they were all dressed up we realized their costumes went together perfectly!

Another favorite Halloween meal in our home includes these 'skullzones'

Saturday night we had a Halloween party to go to and although it took some time to come up with a costume for Chris and I we had a blast!

There was a maze we had to go through to enter

How cute are these two besties?

From the house to the scary maze our friends did an awesome job decorating!

Brooklyn's friend made the cake, even the skulls were handmade!

Cutest jello shots!

The girls planned out their costumes and he just went along with whatever they told him to wear

October was full of Halloween fun this year!
