Leo Carrillo Camping

We started off August and ended our Summer with our last beach camping trip.

Brooklyn was asked to help unload the firewood and she was complaining she would get splinters so I told her to unload it and she'd get a popsicle.  She got to work right away.

We went down to the beach and boy it was windy so we didn't stay too long.

Still beautiful though

I like this campsite because it is back in a canyon and feels like we are in the mountains but a short walk under the highway and you are on the beach.

What I did not like this trip was the fact that I was being attacked by wasps all day, we battled ants in the trailer one morning and when we got back from our first full day on the beach we noticed the bees decided to set up on the tree right above our fire pit so we didn't get to use the fire the last two nights.

I'm thinking this beach makes up for all of the other issues we had to deal with back at the trailer

I can't believe this was our last camping trip of the Summer and might be for awhile because Kayla's cross country schedule will keep us pretty booked this school year.
