May Recap

Happy June!
The girls will be finishing up their last week of school and then we will be in full blown Summer mode here and we can't wait.   Things are starting to feel a little bit more normal and hopefully soon we will be back to normal here in California and we can get rid or wearing these stupid masks.  I'm tired of seeing these poor kids wearing masks around each other and not being able to see their sweet smiles.

Brooklyn decided to get festive and painted her face for cinco de mayo

while I got festive by drinking a margarita.

These kitties sure aren't going to like being left alone throughout the Summer but it is nice to come home to lots of love from them.

Chris and I took a short drive to enjoy a date night at a nearby brewhouse.

They always have the tastiest food trucks!

We celebrated my father in laws birthday earlier in May and we were all happy to escape the clouds and gloomy weather here at home

because the pool and sun is much better!

I brought a yummy dessert.

Brooklyn not so much but she sure enjoys smelling lotions and fun bath products.

Kayla submitted her 'Sisters'  video she made to the California Student Media Festival and we got an email that she was a finalist and to tune in to find out if she won.

Well she WON!
We are beyond proud of her!

Such a great experience!

After her zoom awards ceremony we had a wedding to go to.  This wedding had a bounce house and petting zoo at the reception for all of the kids.

cotton candy and a snow cone machine made for lots of happy kids.

It was a fun night!

We stayed at my mother in laws and woke up to a delicious breakfast!

Brooklyn has been re-watching lots of old Disney movies and I have loved walking in and seeing this in the mornings before school.
