This Halloween we told Kayla she could invite a friend over for the day since we spent the evening before hanging out a Halloween party and Brooklyn was with her friends that entire night
I set up some snacks and they watched scary movies most of the day until they decided to carve pumpkins.
Brooklyn drew hers out and carved it on her own
Kayla used a template
For dinner we dined on chili beans and mummy wrapped hot dogs.
The girls got ready to trick or treat right after dinner.
The two witches were ready to get some candy
Our zombie cheerleader got compliments on her costume at just about every house. We all were laughing because it was such a simple costume.
This family did a great job with their decor!
We trick or treated a little over an hour and then the girls were ready to go back home and watch scary movies.
They of course dumped their candy out to see what they got
Brooklyn organized it accordingly and has decided to take a little to school everyday to give to her friends at lunch because she doesn't need this much candy. That's my girl!
After a couple of hours Kayla's friend went home and the girls were fast asleep. It was a busy weekend and we've all been a bit slower and tired since. We all think the day after Halloween would be a great day to have off!
