Things That Make Me Happy

This past weekend I was tagged by Martha over at Butterflies and Dragonflies to list my 10 things that make me happy so here they are in no particular order:


10. My Girls~Just about everything they do makes me smile especially Kayla's sweet voice, I love how now she is singing around the house all day. Brooklyn's giant smile and her laugh is one of the best sounds ever.

9. Sleep~I am only putting this one down now since I don't get much sleep anymore. I am lucky to get maybe 6 hours and that might be good for some people but not me I need atleast 8-9 hours. Now that I am writing this down I am realizing I may not get 8-9 hours of sleep ever again. :(





8. Music~I have always loved music, I love how one song can take you back to a certain time or place and how it can tell such a beautiful story.






7. The beach~I love everything about it, the sand, the smell, the waves! Looking out at the ocean reminds me just how big this world is and always makes my problems seem so small.

6. Disneyland~It makes me feel like a kid again. I have always loved going to Disneyland and it is even better now with kids!




5. Entertaining~I love having people over whether it be a bunch of friends for a sports game or the family for a holiday. I enjoy cooking and baking good food and serving tasty drinks for everyone to enjoy.




4. Wine~Okay I am not an alcoholic but a glass of Pinot Grigio (preferably Santa Margherita) at the end of the day does make me happy!

3. Decorating~I can't even tell you how much time I waste on decorating. I look forward to each season just so I can pull out the decorations I have stored away. Whenever I have any money to spend it almost always goes towards stuff for our house.

2. Pictures~I love pictures of family and friends, there are pictures everywhere in my house.

1. My husband~he is my best friend and always makes me happy :)
