I believe the past 5 weekends in a row have been busy.
Of course this one was no different.
Friday night was fun,
the weather was nice so we ate dinner outside which
consisted of mostly appetizers.
Everybody loved it, even Brooklyn who almost never eats dinner ;)

Daddy did the yard while the girls and I played until dark.
Afterwards we came in and got ready for bed.
Saturday we had a full day celebrating my brother's girlfriend, Becca's graduation.
She was graduating with her Master's Degree and out of the 400 students graduating that day, she was chosen to speak at the graduation.
Of course her speech was amazing, just like everything she does is!
We celebrated back at my parents house which then was followed by another celebration back at my brother and his girlfriends house later in the evening.
We left the girls at Grandma and Grandpa's house so that we could have some fun.
After getting the girls home late Saturday night we woke up to some very unwanted cold and cloudy weather.
I don't know what is going on with the weather here in California but I am starting to think we might be in Seattle with all this gloominess lateley!
Good thing we drove into Palm Springs to meet Grandpa Russ and his friends for lunch to celebrate his birthday.
The weather was about 20 degrees warmer and not a cloud in the sky!
We had a great lunch and I was not ready to come back to the cold weather I knew was waiting for us back home.
As soon as I walked in the door and put the girls down for a nap I quickly changed out of my capris, sandals and short sleeve shirt and into sweats and a sweatshirt.
The whole family layed down and took a much needed nap.
Although we had a very busy weekend it was a fun one and I am glad we all ended it well rested.
Now I might just have enough energy to do some laundry!

Looks like you had a great weekend! I wish we lived somewhere like California instead of the old yucky midwest. I guess I am glad we get to experience all 4 seasons but enough rain and cold already!!! :)
