Today is the first official day of Summer and the temperature has finally heated up.
It was in the 90's today and we enjoyed the warm weather in the backyard.
The girls ran around in swimsuits playing in the water
Brooklyn fell in love with the water duck that we hook up to the hose,
she sat holding him and then would kiss and hug him, it was too cute!
Kayla picked me a flower,
she always brings me a flower when we are outside :)
Our dog finally got a bath,
although smells again due to the fact that she sat outside all day in the heat.
We even fit in a quick craft.
They painted a sun,
Brooklyn was done in about 5 minutes,
she wanted to go outside but Kayla enjoyed it.
I just know Summer is going to be over in the blink of an eye,
there are so many fun things that we have planned,
it's hard not to wish it away while waiting.
We are going to try our best to enjoy every minute of it.

I can't believe how quickly summer is going by. I love that photo of your daughter holding the sweet dandylion. Perfect summer time fun.
Your girls are so beautiful! I know I say it every time but isn't it so fun to have 2 girls? Love it! I love the ages your girls are, too. So fun and it just gets better and better. I do miss when my girls were that age though.

We need to go get our new plastic pool! We seem to break it at the end of summer every year. I guess we always get our money's worth.
