Goodbye Crib

Since Wednesday night the girls have been sharing a room and they now have a playroom full of way too many toys!
I took the picture above and the one below on Wednesday morning knowing this would be the last time I picked up my big girl out of a crib :(
I can't believe she is going to be 2 in a few weeks and pretty soon I'll wake up and all her baby chubs are going to be gone.

She is loving being in a big girl bed and Kayla loves having her sleep in the same room as her every night!
Brooklyn is ready for bed every night and we haven't had a problem with her at all at night.
It's just naptime that this girl will not lay down for!

Even when she was in her crib she would play for an hour, sing, yell, talk and then eventually fall asleep but now she just gets out of the bed or jumps on it.
Poor Kayla, who does still take naps, has been such a trooper trying to get her to take naps with her.
She has even offered up her bed to share, she thought Brooklyn might sleep better if she was in bed with her.

Brooklyn has eventually fallen asleep for a nap but it's usually after about an hour and half of trying to get her down.
She might just not need naps like Kayla did or does but I'm hoping by the end of this week she'll maybe adjust and go down easily for a nap.
I don't want to think of not having some quiet time during the day.

I'll be back to let you know how it goes ;)

Dear Shannon,

Beautiful photos!

Those pink sheets look like Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic..love them.

We have the pink satin curtains and Shabby Chic curtain rod.

Baby girl will be two before we know it and I guess we will be
getting her a big girl bed soon too!

Enjoy,
