One of our favorite things to do while on Balboa Island is go for nightly walks around the island.
The houses are so beautiful and of course the ocean filled with boats is so pretty.
This year we didn't get to do much walking around because little Ms. Stubborn Brooklyn would not sit in her stroller or walk with us.
She only wanted to sit and watch the boats and try to get down to the water to play in the sand.
Nonetheless we did do what we call a mini stroll here and there.
We of course stopped for our Balboa bars, where the girls opted for giant hippo cookies instead.
We also got to stop at the local Fire Department where the girls got some cute hats and got to sit in one of the firetrucks.
The nights are so nice and peaceful around Balboa and being out enjoying it was the perfect way to end the day!

It looks so relaxing and fun (other than dealing with a strong-willed toddler, which is the story of my life!). Glad you had such a good time!
