I feel like I haven't blogged in forever but it's only been five days since my last post.
We've been busy this week getting things ready for our upcoming vacation so there hasn't been much time for sitting on the computer.
Even though we've been super busy gathering things for our trip I've tried to fit in some fun for the girls.
Saturday we went swimming over at my in-laws and Kayla spent the last half of the day jumping in and out of the pool.
She's already talking about how next time she will be using the diving board instead.
She's come a long way since last Summer, that's for sure!
Brooklyn swam too but decided after hours in the pool it was time to go inside and play instead.
Here she is on the exact same rocking horse her daddy used to ride along with his hat as a little boy.
and here she is being Brooklyn,

We spent Monday morning at the movies seeing Monsters University followed by lunch at McDonald's which is a treat because I'm not a fan of this place but they had a play area so the girls were happy.
Tuesday we finished up our crafts from Kiwi Crate.
This month the girls got to make their own lanterns and make a scavenger hunt box.
The lanterns were fun to make because the girls got to punch out their own stars however they wanted and they also got to choose their lantern color.
Up next was decorating their scavenger hunt boxes.
These boxes have already gotten their use that's for sure.
They came with a couple different cards to choose from that go inside the box letting you know what you have to find. One of the cards was items by color so we did this one inside yesterday morning.
Then last night after dinner we went out in the front yard and the girls got to do the other card featuring items you would find outside.
I love how easy these crafts are and how much fun they bring to a regular Summer day.
The girls have really enjoyed them and it saves me time figuring out what craft to do next.
If you are interested in trying Kiwi Crate out and getting $10.00 off your first box click here to sign up.
Trust me your kids will love it and so we will you, they are so fun!

Now I better get back to getting things done around here.
Trying to get things done for our trip and making sure the girls are still having some fun has been a pretty big task this week!
