Summer's Coming To An End

Summer is over in a week, a WEEK!
I can't believe how fast time seems to go by and how it seems to go by faster and faster every year.
It feels like Summer was full of running around and not much time for relaxing but when I look back at a few pictures I do see we had some relaxing mornings in pajamas lounging around.

Kayla showing Brooklyn how she can tie a bow

Back to school shopping

faking how tired they are after a day of shopping for them

And even though we were running around most days we did get just about all of our Summer fun list completed with the exception of only two.
Maybe we'll fit that game night in within the next week!

Something that I had plans to do was to read a few books this Summer but there they sit still on my nightstand in the exact same spot they were on the first day of Summer.
I didn't read or finish a single one, I'll just add them to one of my goals to do while I have a few days alone while the girls are off at school this year!

That's right I get two mornings a week all to myself and even though I'm extremely sad that the time has already come to have both kids old enough to be off at school I'm pretty excited to get some alone time.
I already have plans on what needs to get done but don't worry the first day I drop Brooklyn off at school I'll be home probably crying that I have a preschooler and a first grader already!

A few pics of what our Summer around the house looked like,

an entire city created where all are welcome

bath time fun, painting her face blue
games with daddy

keeping cool in the backyard

Off to enjoy the last few days!

Brooklyn looks like a child model in the pic with those pillows! So cute!
