I have quite the love for trays whether they are silver, florentine, mirrored or baskets I am always drawn to them when shopping. I have so many that I often have to talk myself out of bringing home more that is unless they are florentine trays, those I bring home no matter what! Here is a peak into how I use and decorate with all of the trays I have collected over the years.
I have this huge basket tray from Pottery Barn in my living room. Up until a few weeks ago I had the basket hanging in our master bedroom which I loved but I had found an oil painting to go in it's spot instead so this moved to the living room coffee table. I love basket trays and baskets in general for the warmth and texture they bring into a room.
This room is usually where I go to read so it made sense to fill the basket with a couple of pretty design books along with a candle, box of matches and a cute little crown.
Florentine trays are so pretty and always a fun and usually inexpensive find at antique stores. This red one has been moved all around the house. Right now it's sitting in our entryway with some ivy and a pumpkin for Fall.
Here's another basket tray that I purchased in a set of three from Everyday Occasions. This one is in our family room and is holding a small silver bowl that is gathering the girls Thankfuls for the month of November.
These next two are in the kitchen and just like all the other trays the decor in or on them changes with the seasons.
Trays also work great in the bedrooms to gather knick knacks and other items like jewelry.
This florentine tray is by my bedside and gathers a favorite picture of my girls, a candle, some lipgloss and a sweet little angel Kayla got me for Christmas last year.
I found the Paris tray years ago at Big Lots of all places. Its perfect in the master bathroom holding my favorite bubble baths and soaps.
Apparently I have a lot of trays in my bathroom, these last two were sold as a set of three and two of them are in the master bathroom. One holding all my perfumes and the other gathering our everyday bath necessities.
Does anyone else have a love affair with trays, how do you use yours?

I too have a nice collection of trays. I change them out with the season or my mood, but the few in my bedroom and bathroom any stay where they are.
The look beautiful - I have trays and baskets everywhere also - hanging and on surfaces !
