Mission Inn

One of our Christmas traditions is to take a drive over to the Mission Inn to enjoy the lights that decorate the beautiful hotel.

We always stop for dinner first and then drive over to walk around the hotel.  After all the lights are enjoyed we take our time looking around at everything else.  The past few years they have had  a few reindeer there.  The girls enjoy taking some time and watching them and we all had fun trying to guess if it was Blitzen, Comet, Donner, Cupid etc.  About every 15 minutes or so it would snow and the girls would run straight for it, it's their favorite part besides the stop for dessert at Casey's Cupcakes of course!

The only thing missing this year was the Carolers but I think because we went 2 weeks before Christmas they weren't out yet, might have to go a little closer to the big day next year because I did miss those Carolers!
