Ten on Ten

ten on ten button

With all the flowers in these pictures and our perfect weather here it definitely feels like Spring!
I've had the back slider open for the past few days and I'm loving it, Kayla wore shorts today and Brooklyn was off to school in a dress!  The only thing that has been rough is the last two mornings of trying to get up when it's still dark outside.  This morning we were running a bit late so it was out the door without my usual sit down and enjoy my chai tea kinda morning.  Luckily I remembered to grab my "real" camera(which I haven't used in what feels like forever) and took a picture of the girls before we headed to school.

As soon as I got home it was time for The Bachelor and a cup of my favorite chai tea.

Afterward I went and got a pedicure and then ran some errands to return books and dropped by the post office.

Back home to water some flowers

I caught up on some more tv, folded laundry and then ate some leftover pasta salad before going to pick up Brooklyn.

After school pick up we stopped by the grocery store where Brooklyn picked up a free cookie and ran into a few friends she just saw at school(she was super excited about this)  I made sure to pick up some pretty flowers for the house for me.

Brooklyn got to work on some homework once we got home while I put things away.

My crockpot has been on my counter a lot lately.  This is the best way for me to get a somewhat healthy dinner on the table since most nights we have softball so we aren't home until 7.  Tonight I made this veggie lasagna and some brownies for dessert.

Yay, Kayla is home from school!  The girls played together right away.  They love to play school.  Kayla's the teacher and right now she is reading to her student(s)

Well playtime is over and now we are off to Brooklyn's first game of the season, can you tell she is excited?!  She did so good and had a blast!

Then it was back home, dinner, baths, some reading and the girls were off to bed.  This is pretty much our every day  for the next two months while the girls are in softball.   They love it and I know one day I will miss driving them all around town!

I use my crockpot often as well. It makes dinner on busy nights less stressful.
