The Weekend

Friday afternoon we took the girls to John's Incredible Pizza.  The food is far from incredible but the girls always have a blast with all the rides and video games they have.  Kayla had received a coupon from school and since hubby was off we decided to go.

After we ate we gave them a certain amount of tickets to use and once they were gone we were done.  The rides of course were their favorite thing to use their tickets for.  Brooklyn especially loved this rollercoaster.

Kayla had to go on this spinning ride alone.  Brooklyn was too small for it and hubby and I both opted out since we knew it would make us sick.

We spent three hours following them around from game to ride to ride to game.  They loved every minute of it.

Saturday afternoon we took the girls to see Peter Pan, The Musical at a nearby theater.  They brought their little friends along with them.

We have taking them to a couple of other plays in the past but this was their first 2 hour with an intermission so I was excited to see if they would enjoy it

Of course they loved it and we all did, it was super cute!

It was pouring rain when we got out from the theater and we had reservations at Lucilles BBQ which we had to walk over too.  It was definitely worth it though because it was sooo good.

Brooklyn especially enjoyed the wet washcloths they served us at the end of the meal, she is definitely ready for a day at the spa.

Sunday we were all going to go to my in laws to swim for the day and eat dinner but Kayla had been complaining that her tummy was hurting since the night before so we waited and waited to see if it got better which it never did so Kayla and I stayed back home and Brooklyn and daddy went without us.  Kayla was disappointed at first but was happy after a bubble bath and getting the okay to watch Jurassic Park.   While she was watching the movie I cleaned and rearranged her bedroom, moving in this chair so she would have a spot to read.  It's taken her some time to get used to the new set up but she is finally enjoying it now.  #girldoesnotlikechange

While we were enjoying our time at home Brooklyn was jumping off the diving board over and over again.

We had a busy week with vacation and all the activities we did over the weekend but it was a ton of fun.  I'm going to be so sad in 2 1/2 weeks when Summer officially come to an end!
