Holiday Master Bedroom

I have always made sure to decorate each of the bedrooms throughout our home but this year I was extra excited to add some Christmas touches to the master bedroom.  This is the first Christmas I get to decorate my dream bed and although I didn't change much, just added some Christmas here and there, I love the way it turned out!

The only new thing I purchased was the garland for behind the bed.  I picked it up from Hobby Lobby and that was that.   The Merry Christmas sign I won years ago from a giveaway on a blog and it's been moved around each year but I am enjoying it this year over our bed.

A little Christmas tree to bring some holiday cheer was added to the bedside table

The bedding is from Pottery Barn and I've had it forever and no matter how many times I change the bedding I always come back to this one.   It's definitely my favorite especially around this time of year.  The reindeer pillows were both purchased from Society6 which I'll list all sources for at the end of this post.

Adding some ornaments to a bowl or glass vase is one of the simplest ways to decorate for the holidays and I love that these blue vintage ones were a happy find one day while I was out antiquing.

This sign used to hang over our old bed but once we purchased the new bed it no longer worked there so it was moved to hang over the dresser.  It was a custom order from Between You and Me Designs with the words from our first dance at our wedding almost thirteen years ago.

It was so simple to add these touches of my favorite holiday to our master bedroom and I know it will not overwhelm me to clean it all up once the holiday has passed.   It's amazing what a small change can do to a room and even better when I saved money by adding decorations I already had on hand.  I'll be back soon with the rest of our home tour!
