Today my first born turns TEN and even though I wish with all my heart I could go back to the baby days of rocking her in that lavender chair in that beautiful little baby room I am beyond proud of the young lady she is turning into!
Not every day is perfect with her because she is one very strong willed child who knows it all and loves to argue but I know that one day that trait will turn her into an independent and strong adult that I have no doubt will do amazing things.
As for now she is still my little girl who loves to play soccer, writes the most imaginative stories and can often be found with a book in her hand. She loves to follow me around the house telling me almost word for word all about her current reads and I know someday when she is all grown up that will be something I am truly going to miss!
She says she wants to be a veterinarian when she is older and she loves watching Dr. K's Exotic Animal ER. and any other informative animal show. She has a very small circle of friends that she picked wisely, she isn't into anything girly like jewelry, hair or wearing dresses. She is a tomboy who can't wait for Summertime so she can spend her days bodyboarding. She is a daredevil and loves rollercoasters and thinks that jumping out of an airplane sounds like fun! She has one of the best laughs I have ever heard and I love her beyond words!
So Happiest 10th Birthday to one of the most amazing girls I have ever known!

Kayla is an amazing person and you described her perfectly. She is super smart and she also loves to be silly, and yes, she does have the best laugh. Happy Birthday Kayla! We love you so much.
