Thanksgiving 2017

We are in denial that tomorrow the girls are back in school and reality sets in.  We've had so much fun over the last week that it's going to be hard to get back into the swing of things but thankfully it's only about a month until Christmas Break comes along!  I have lots to share but first up is our Thanksgiving.  I made a delicious Apple Cake to take to my mother in laws for dessert and I love how pretty it always comes out and it tastes delicious too!  Click here for the recipe if you want to give it a try.

Our morning began with eggs, bacon and toast.  The girls played and we watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade before we made our rounds to visit with family.

a few pictures before heading out,

Kayla was thrilled to take pictures, can't you tell???

This year we went to my parents for appetizers before we headed to my mother in laws for our feast.  The cousins played together and we ate lots of appetizers and I even got a few pictures of us all.

The best grandparents with their great grandchildren.  I love this picture!

Here are my parents with all of their grandchildren.

Around four we headed over to my mother in laws to eat dinner.

Her tables are always so pretty and the adorable cookies were made by my sister in laws cousin.

I've wanted to eat Thanksgiving dinner every night again since Thursday.  It's always been one of my favorite meals!

The girls got early Christmas presents from their aunt.   She wanted to watch them open their gifts since we are not all together on Christmas.

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well.  We've already decked the halls for the next holiday and we've been watching Christmas movies non stop for the past three days,
Happy Holidays!

What a beautiful night filled with happy memories! Can I say? You baby girl is looking a wee bit older in that pretty pink dress. Maybe taller? It's hard to say... such blessings those daughters are. You are an awesome mom!
