Spring Break Recap

We left on Saturday morning of Spring Break to go camping and came home on Wednesday.  I'll be sure to share our trip with you as soon as I get all of the pictures uploaded but first I thought I'd share a few pictures of our Spring Break once we were home.  When we came home I noticed my camellias were in full bloom so I cut a few to bring inside to enjoy.

Thursday morning we needed food so before we went to Trader Joe's the girls and I went to lunch.  I love having these two as my lunch dates!

Our new patio set came and it's been getting a whole lot of use since.   Its been perfect for morning cups and afternoon cocktails!

Friday morning the girls and I drove out to my parents and then my mom, the girls and I went to visit my grandmother.  We ate lunch, drank chocolate milkshakes and then spent a long time talking.  The girls even participated in the afternoon activity and did a crossword puzzle with their great grandmother.   They had so much fun and wanted to make sure to come again on a crossword puzzle day.

This is a horrible picture of me but we are all together so it's getting posted.  This day was so nice and I'm happy we took the time to visit with my grandmother.  I'm looking forward to Summertime and hoping to get out a lot more to see her.

That night we all enjoyed relaxing at home.  Kayla was in pajamas writing a story with her favorite kitty.

Brooklyn enjoyed watching shows wearing her bunny ears her papa Russ gave her.

Saturday we had a new family member we needed to meet.   The girls had a new cousin and Kayla, who by the way swears she doesn't want any kids, could not wait to hold him.

He was so good the entire time he was there visiting and I swear he barely made a peep.  I held him many times and loved every second of it!

Brooklyn and Tessa played all evening, horseback rides and princess dress up shows.   So happy my girls who even though they are years older than all of their cousins still play so well with them.

Sunday we got a lot of things done around the house and made sure to fit in some down time before we were back to reality Monday morning.  Spring Break went quick but it was full of fun memories and Summer is only a short ten weeks away!
