The girls quietly waited in their rooms while we went and got our coffee and woke up the house. I snapped a quick photo of what the bunny left behind before they tore into their baskets and then we told them to come see what was left for them.
They got so many fun items like friendship bracelet making kits,
and a small toy from Peppa Pig cuz you're never too old for fun cartoons! (Side Note, after how many years of having the exact same basket these girls did not know which one was theirs and after they opened a few things I noticed and told them they needed to switch because they were at the wrong basket, they had no idea!)
They also got their usual swimsuit and flip flops for the Summer and some delicious drink mixes to help cool them off when it gets too hot.
Then of course they each got a book but Kayla's was a fun one because she didn't even know this one existed and even better when it is written by her favorite author that she co-wrote with her sister. Two sisters writing books together sounds like two girls I know!
Ready for their egg hunt
Fifteen eggs each and lots of them were stuffed with Hatchimals
The girls hatched their hatchimals while we baked some chocolate croissants for breakfast.
The entire family came over later in the afternoon and we all had the best time!
We were so happy to have everyone here this year, all the cousins together running around searching for eggs.
Then there was silly string!
Giant Jenga was a hit and kept some of the adults busy
We all played hot potato for some prizes as well.
The great grandmas chatted and caught up
baby JJ was passed around getting all of the cuddles
When you have a one month old you need to fit in some naps.
The kids all got multiple Easter baskets this year!
Two happy little girls who are so very lucky to have such a big family to celebrate another wonderful holiday with!
