Our Christmas home is not complete until we get our tree. This year we went to pick out the tree the first weekend in December and thankfully we found the one we wanted quickly. There have been years I might have made our family travel to more than one spot to find the perfect tree but not this year. We were checked out in thirty minutes or less and happy to be on our way back home.
While Chris was in charge of the lights on the tree I was in charge of the food. The last few years Chris and I drink champagne while the girls do most of the decorating. We also enjoy appetizers and some cookies which makes it all the more fun.
These two are always entertaining.
The star is always last and daddy holding up his girls to place it on top as always been one of his favorite traditions. Unfortunately they are a bit too big for him to hold up like he used to so we improvise.
After their hard work the girls opened up their 2020 ornament for their own Christmas trees that are put up in their rooms every year.
This year they got the same one because it was too perfect.
After everything was a bit cleaned up we played card games until it was late.
