Ten On Ten

 Happy February Ten on Ten!

We woke up to a gloomy Wednesday morning and just like every other day for the past several months our day was pretty much the same as always.  The girls were eating breakfast before getting online for their classes, Chris was working in the guestroom and I grabbed my coffee and sat with my buddy for awhile.

Eventually I made a healthy breakfast with some yogurt, granola, raspberries and a splash of honey.

Brooklyn had a break in between class and was supposed to be folding towels but was instead playing with the cat.

While the girls were in school I puttered around the house, did laundry, rearranged and caught up on some recorded shows.

Once the clouds wore off I headed outside and finished cutting back all of the rose bushes.  My hands maybe cut to shreds but I sure am happy it's done!

Back inside Kayla was busy painting her nails.

After her nails were done and she got dressed we headed out to her oral therapy session.   She's been going once a week for the past month and will hopefully be done in the next week or so because it's an hour away and not so fun to drive home in during rush hour traffic.   She's been going to correct her tongue posture which has apparently been wrong and is why her teeth even after her first round of braces have shifted so much.   After this she should be able to get her last phase of braces on and her teeth will stay where they need to be so we don't waste all of that money for her teeth to shift and not be where they need to be.

We were back home a little after 6:30, ate dinner and got ready for bed.   The girls eventually trailed off to do their own thing before bed while Chris and I watched our shows.  Right now we are watching Firefly Lane on Netflix which we have been enjoying so far.

Bedtime after a few episodes to wake up and repeat most of the same tomorrow!
