Halloween Weekend

Halloween weekend has come and gone and it's almost Thanksgiving already but I couldn't not post all the fun we had.  The Saturday before we went to a dress up party.  Chris and I dressed up as mobsters and the girls were creepy sisters.

Brooklyn is so creative and came up with her costume hours before we left, she did the make up all on her own as well.

Our friends go all out for the party and have a haunted maze for us to go through when we arrive.

Their daughter always makes the cake

and this year they had a bartender and a taco man.

Always a good time!

Sunday it was pumpkin carving time

Kayla did not want to carve this year so dad saved the day and stepped in because Brooklyn was bummed and didn't want to carve alone.

I surprised the girls with Cookie Co. cookies to eat while we watched It's the Great Pumpkin.

Monday we were up and ready for the day.  The girls were off to school while I was prepping to have a house full of teens.

Kayla dressed up as a cowgirl for school and was too cute.

Brooklyn was a beautiful pirate.

Kayla was having some of her cross country teammates over for dinner, scary movies and trick or treating.  I made a big pot of chili beans, cornbread, hot dogs and put out treats to eat.

The girls ready for some Halloween fun!

Brooklyn hanging out with Chris and I out back while the house was full of Kayla's friends.

A picture of most of the kids before they left to go trick or treating.

They weren't out very long which was nice because we don't have a ton of candy here.

The girls had a great time and it was nice having them here at our home.
