Saturday morning we gathered with the grandparents to watch both of the girls play softball.  Kayla had a game first and then it was time for Brooklyn's game right after.  It was Brooklyn's first game ever and we were all so excited to see how she did.  It seems not long ago we all did the same to watch Kayla's very first t-ball game!  It was extremely windy and Brooklyn's hat kept blowing off but she didn't mind one bit, the girl had a smile on her face the entire time.  Originally I wasn't so sure how my "princess" was going to do playing in the dirt or if she would even like the sport at all.  She does seem to spend her practices worrying about the helmet messing up her hair and not getting how to even hold a bat at all but Saturday morning she was all in to play ball!  She did so good hitting and she was down and ready for that ball to be hit to her at all times.  After her first at bat she got a bit confused and looked like she was running to second base but quickly figured out how to get to first instead.  We all had a good laugh and thought she was pretty cute when she spent most of the time on the bases making sure to wave to all of us in the stands.  I'm so glad she had as much fun as she did and I think I captured enough pictures to prove how great her first game went!
