Clothes Shopping

So I don't normally blog about fashion but that's because I'm pretty boring when it comes to clothes.  I always have the best intentions to go out and buy clothes for myself only to find cuter clothes for the girls so I end up putting my clothes back and getting theirs instead!  Well the last two days I have spent some time online purchasing a few (sorry hubby) items for myself and now I'm pretty excited to start building a better wardrobe for myself.  I'll work on adding things slowly in the future but for now here is what I'm waiting to arrive at my doorstep,

Hubby and I are going to Vegas in a couple weeks and I wanted a dress that was a little bit nicer than just a sundress and I'm hoping the one above works out well because it looks really cute and comfortable.  Perfect for a fancy dinner and show I think!!  The dress below will be fun for a casual evening or during the day if we aren't lounging by the pool.

I love this dress below but did not purchase it and I'm sure it will be sold out soon.  I knew I didn't really need it for Vegas or Summer since it's too hot but it would be perfect for Fall.

I've been wanting a cute denim jacket for awhile now and I've heard amazing things about this brand and lucky for me it was on sale so it will be mine very soon.  It will be perfect over dresses in the evenings.

I was in major need of jeans and I was down to only two, one of which are ripped and I need nice jeans.  Vigoss jeans are my favorite, mainly because they are affordable and still comfortable.  Last night these dark ones were on sale but it looks like they are already back up to normal price.  Glad I got them for the sale price!

I also picked up these as well, I've been wanting some patterned jeans and these will be fun with some cute sandals.

I think I bought enough items in the past 24 hours for now and I'm hoping they all actually fit and look as cute as they do online.  Atleast all of them have free shipping and returns so that's a major bonus.  Now to find some cute and comfortable wedges!?

A Few of My Favorite Things

There are only 9 days until Christmas!

Is anybody else feeling like they didn't get everything done?

I had a bunch of crafts I wanted to try out and few things I wanted to do with the girls as well as some goodies I wanted to bake.

Of course I still have this next week and I do plan on baking a whole lot but don't know if I will be able to get my crafts done since I will also be cleaning the house for Christmas day.

Oh well there is always next year, right ;)

I thought since this is the last actual weekend to shop for Christmas I would share a few of my favorite things.
I love reading posts on favorite things so I thought you guys might enjoy hearing a few of mine.

First up are these earrings and pretty much any of the earrings from Armelle Jewelry shop on Etsy.

I have ordered quite a few items from her shop and have loved every single one.

Of course I have been watching The Family Stone just about every day while the girls take their nap.

I love this movie and cry pretty much everytime at the end. 

It is such a good holiday movie and really makes me want more kids ;)

I just received this print the other day from Jeanne's beautiful shop.  

I had my eye on it for the last couple of weeks and finally ordered it with some Christmas money I received.

It is so pretty and I can't wait to find the perfect frame for it!

Mercury glass is one of my favorite items to decorate with.

I have mercury candle holders scattered throughout our home and love the look of them lit up.

I pick them up whenever I see some for a reasonable price.

Oh how I love these shoes and have wanted them for probably the last 5 months but really can not bring myself to pay $129.00 for heels that I will probably only wear 2 or 3 times a year.

They are beautiful though aren't they?

I have talked about these pillows before but I absolutely love these lavender filled pillows from Maria's shop.

I have them in just about every room in the house and they are always getting picked up by either the girls or myself just to smell.

I was so excited when I saw this lace top and thought it would be perfect to wear on Christmas day but then noticed it was already on back order until February.

Go figure, I find something from Anthropologie that is somewhat of a reasonable price and it is out of stock for the next 2 months!

I actually received a Scentsy burner last Christmas from my brother and my soon to be sister in law and have since purchased another burner and a few other scents.

There is one in my kitchen which I turn on every morning and there is another one in the master bathroom that I turn on while I'm getting ready to go somewhere.

My favorite scent right now is the Christmas Cottage, it's the perfect scent for the holidays.

Bath and Body Works always has great gift items!

The new scent Be Enchanted is my favorite right now.

I only have the body spray but will be going back to get the lotion very soon!

I'm so sad that I only have one more week of Peppermint Mocha's left.

I think I will have to make a trip to Starbuck's everyday for the next week to get as much of them as I can before they are all gone after Christmas :(

Well I'm sure there are a whole lot of other favorites I could come up with but I will not waste your time with the rest.

I'm pretty sure you all have a lot to do to get ready for the holidays!

What to Wear...

I'm exhausted and still not feeling 100 % but I have fun ahead so I am taking my Airborne and praying that I will feel better by tomorrow morning.
I spent time today going through my closet trying to figure out what to wear tomorrow night, just as all girls do right?

Isn't it depressing sometimes?

Chris gets annoyed because I have a lot of clothes, which I do but in all honestly pretty much all of them either are too big,

I wore them while pregnant or while nursing so they do not fit now
or too small, hello after a baby things change a bit even if you look skinny again
I can only suck in my stomach so far :)

So all of those clothes that I hang onto for who knows why don't count right? Good thing there are always the trustworthy jeans, I love jeans.

Well I'm good for tomorrow I found my outfit and will be on the look out for some cute affordable summer clothes. I need to actually set a time to pick out some cute clothes for me and realize that Kayla and Brooklyn have enough adorable outfits. It's just hard when you see a cute outfit that only costs $10.00, why can't my outfits be that cheap?

Anyone know where I can find these for $10.00 each...........

Polka Dots

I am drawn to all things Polka Dots, especially when it is for kids! Looking back at some pictures I am seeing a definite trend.

Polka dots are just so cute!

There are lots of polka dots in the girls closets, not to mention their beds are both sporting polka dots as well :)

Pajama Day(s)

We have been lazy this week....

Okay I have been lazy this week.

We have been home most of this week and since the washing machine is broken the girls have spent the last two, going on three days in pajamas.


Don't worry we have all showered or taken baths, I even put on some sweats instead of pajamas!

I am just thinking this will make my weeks worth of laundry easier on me! I promise we will be getting dressed again soon after my washing machine is delivered....I think :)
